Ricardo OrtizField Researcher

Ricardo Ortiz is a biologist, field researcher in Human-Wildlife Coexistence (HWC) with more than 10 years of experience in monitoring large and medium-sized vertebrates with camera traps and in working with indigenous, Afro-descendant and peasant communities in Colombia. Currently, he is pursuing a master's degreein sustainability to understand the issues associated with the study of different socio-ecological systems and promote comprehensive strategies for coexistence with big cats.
