Priscila Peralta

Field Researcher

Dr. Peralta is a Peruvian wildlife veterinarian and a conservationist. She has spent the past eight years studying jungle wildlife for a variety of conservation and scientific research programs focusing on wildlife health and spatial ecology studies. She has also worked with indigenous communities addressing the human dimensions of conflicts with carnivores. Since joining Panthera, she has investigated jaguar trafficking in the Peruvian Amazon.
