Grégory Breton joined Panthera in March 2017 from France’s famed Parc des Félins, where he served as Curator and Deputy Director for 15 years, and Vice Chair of the Felid Taxon Advisory Group of the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria and Sand Cat European Breeding Program coordinator for several years. 

As Panthera’s Europe and West & Central Africa Hub Director, Grégory is responsible for overseeing Panthera's operations in France, the United Kingdom, Gabon, Senegal, and the Republic of Congo. He collaborates closely with Panthera's US headquarters to strategize and implement conservation initiatives across these regions. Grégory brings extensive expertise in wildlife management, driving Panthera's mission to protect and preserve big and small cats and their habitats in diverse ecosystems.
