Chief People Officer
Crystal Adams is the Chief People Officer at Panthera. With over 20 years of experience leading human resources across global, mission-driven organizations, Crystal brings a deep commitment to building people-centered systems that reflect organizational values and support teams working across diverse cultures and legal environments.
Prior to joining Panthera, she led an independent HR consulting practice in which she served as a fractional Chief Human Resources Officer for a portfolio of clients. She previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer at the International Refugee Assistance Project, where she developed and executed a global HR strategy, led union negotiations, and revamped the organization's compensation structure across multiple countries and legal jurisdictions.
Crystal has also held senior HR leadership roles at Amnesty International USA and the Maryland Food Bank. Known for her expertise in communication, cultural competence, and organizational strategy, Crystal leads Panthera's global people strategy and is responsible for building the internal systems, culture and talent infrastructure needed to support Panthera's diverse and internationally distributed team.
