Under the leadership of Director Kritsana Kaewplang, Panthera works alongside Thailand’s Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation and Zoological Society of London to monitor and protect the majestic cats of Thailand, from tigers to leopards to small cats. We specify our conservation targets and key large-scale threats at a country level. We also outline our geographic scope and key strategies that aim to address threats and reach our stated goals. As a country program, we focus on overlapping our actions with areas of high cat diversity and areas where there is likely room for their recovery.
