Social Media Community Guidelines

Join Panthera on our social media channels to chat about wild cats and conservation. To ensure a safe, respectful and engaging space, we’ve established a set of community guidelines. By participating in our social media community, you agree to adhere to these guidelines.

  • Treat everyone with kindness, courtesy and empathy. Engage in conversations that are constructive, thoughtful and respectful of differing opinions. Discrimination, hate speech or any form of derogatory language will not be tolerated. This includes attacks on race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability, religion or any other protected characteristics.
  • Please keep discussions related to Panthera’s mission, initiatives and topics that align with our work and values. Off-topic comments, excessive self-promotion or irrelevant posts will be removed to maintain the focus of the conversation.
  • We do not allow unsolicited promotions, ads or spamming. This includes purposeful trolling and messages from robot or anonymous accounts.
  • Respect the privacy of others. Do not share personal information, including contact details, without permission. Avoid posting sensitive or confidential information, and do not post content that you do not own the intellectual property rights in (such as trademarks and copyrights).
  • If you disagree with something, we encourage you to share your perspective in a thoughtful and respectful way. Personal attacks, abusive or offensive language, inflammatory content, or serious, unproven or inaccurate accusations directed at individuals or the organization will not be tolerated.
  •  Posts that contain or encourage violence, graphic content, or anything harmful are not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to, threats of violence, graphic imagery, promotion of illegal activity and any content that promotes harm.

We reserve the right to remove content and block users that violate these guidelines.

Thank you for being a part of our community! Together, we can make a meaningful impact.
