Emily Beverage is an accomplished legal professional with a passion for animal protection and advocacy. With over a decade of experience as a legal advisor to nonprofit organizations, she has made significant contributions to the field. 

Currently serving as General Counsel for Panthera, a leading organization dedicated to the conservation of wild cats, Emily brings her expertise to further the cause of wildlife protection. In her role, she not only provides legal guidance but also plays a vital role in shaping the organization's legal strategy. 

Prior to joining Panthera, Emily held the position of General Counsel at Farm Sanctuary, a prominent national animal protection and advocacy nonprofit. During her tenure, she successfully managed the organization's in-house legal team and spearheaded their legal advocacy initiatives. 

Emily's dedication to animal rights also led her to serve as the Director of Legal & Corporate Affairs for the PETA Foundation. In this capacity, she provided invaluable legal support and guidance to PETA and its affiliates worldwide. Additionally, Emily served as PETA's federal lobbyist on Capitol Hill, where she actively fought for animal protection legislation. 

Emily's legal career began as a clerk at the prestigious Massachusetts Appeals Court, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experience in the legal field. She is a distinguished alumna of Dartmouth College and Vanderbilt University Law School, further solidifying her expertise and commitment to making a difference in the world.
