Panthera Appoints Fernanda Ribeiro as Chief Strategic Engagement Officer

We're thrilled to announce that Fernanda Ribeiro has been appointed Chief Strategic Engagement Officer at Panthera, effective October 1, 2026.

This newly created role brings together Business Development, Global Communications and Marketing, and Institutional Partnerships under unified strategic leadership — a deliberate step forward as we scale our impact for wild cats and the landscapes they depend on.

Fernanda joined Panthera in 2019 as Director of Institutional Partnerships, where she has been instrumental in growing our strategic alliances with governments, funders and conservation partners worldwide. Her background spans diplomacy, public law, sustainable finance and institutional partnerships, a combination that makes her exceptionally well-suited to lead this next chapter.

In her new role, Fernanda will help Panthera develop large-scale integrated initiatives and ensure our most important relationships and opportunities benefit from the full strength of these combined capabilities.
